Etsy must be my favorite place on the net. Each time I'm on there I am amazed at the craftmanship and vision so many of you have! Today I am featuring a lovely little store Inspirations by D.
This lovely lady ( a true Momster) makes little glass beaded necklaces, magnets, pushpins and buttons with beautiful image. My favorite are the sets of magnets- especially the french style.
All of her items are delicate and restful on the eyes. Well, see for yourself:
Love and loveliness,
Kerry the Momster.

With Thanks
After my shower, I ran out of thank you cards (I know I'm blessed with so many people who love our baby). So I got out my craft supplies, surfed the web for inspiration, and came across these cute gems on a blog. Mine aren't as clean cut and beautiful as the originals, but they still turned out pretty well :)
To make your own, here is the tutorial.
Love and thanks,

Fall Art Tutorial
I've been feeling inspired to make some fall art work for my home, and came up with a fun idea, that I also used as a craft with my daughter. Here is a tutorial on how I did it.
Love and art,

1. Use stencil of your choice. I used halloween cookie cutouts. |

2. Trace around cutters on cardboard to make your own stencils. |

4. Stencils all ready to go. |

5. Prepare paints in preferred colors, I used very watered down acrylics. |

6. Place stencil on watercolor paper and using small brush strokes, paint on colors around the edges. Layering colors adds a lovely effect. |

7. Completed picture. |

8. Two of the pictures I did. For my daughter's picture I traced the stencil with a white crayon and let her paint over it. |

Weekend Project: Diaper Wipes Case
There is something about color-coordinated items that soothe my soul (probably has something to do with the OCD area of my brain). As I prepared for my new baby, I self-soothed with a whole collection of organizing items to match my brown and green diaper bag. I found the cutest print on sale at Joanne's Fabrics (which you may recognize from my snack-pack) and got started.
From various google searches, I found patterns for the various things I made.
Pictured here today is the Diaper wipes case I decorated. All I used was my trusty glue-gun, some foam (to soften the flat sides),some ribbon and a button.
Here is the tutorial I followed. This blog also shows a diaper case, which will be my next project.
Coming soon to a computer screen near you: the matching wet bag and burp cloths.
Love and needles,
Kerry the Momster
